After spending literal years working behind the scenes on celebrations at my parents’ venue, Kidz Kastle, there’s one thing I learned: themed parties are absolutely my favorite thing.

From over-the-top birthday setups to fully immersive character experiences, I fell in love with the magic that happens when a theme is done right. But after years of producing in-house events, I knew I wanted to take that creativity offsite, into new spaces, new audiences, and new kinds of celebrations. And if I’m being honest? I was itching for a bachelorette party.

Bachelorettes are the grown-up version of everything I love about kids’ parties,  bold themes, playful details, clever puns, bright colors, and a fully committed vibe. I truly believe every great kids’ party eventually grows up to become a bachelor or bachelorette weekend.

So when my first bachelorette inquiry landed in my inbox, I was genuinely giddy. Every once in a while, a theme comes along that feels like it was made for you. This “Perfect Match” bachelorette was exactly that.

When it comes to planning the perfect bachelorette party in Providence, Rhode Island, the details make all the difference. “Perfect Match” gave us so much room to have fun with the details. Think flirty red accents, statement balloons, cheeky signage, flames and design moments that felt cohesive from the entryway to the bedrooms. The goal wasn’t just to decorate. It was to transform the Airbnb into an experience. We leaned into a color palette that felt vibrant and confident, pairing classic romantic tones with modern party energy.

Custom balloon installations framed the main living space, creating a photo-ready backdrop the girls could gather around all weekend long. Every corner had intention. From the welcome setup to the smaller styled moments layered throughout the space.

For this Perfect Match bachelorette in Providence, we designed a series of custom signs that brought the theme to life, playful hearts, bold flames, oversized matches, and even Cupid mid-arrow. The color palette of hot pink, pink, orange, and red gave everything that fiery, flirty energy the theme deserved.

Some of the signage was professionally designed, and several pieces were hand-painted by us to create that layered, boutique feel. There’s something about hand-painted elements that instantly elevates a setup. They feel intentional, personal, and one-of-a-kind.

And here’s a little behind-the-scenes tip for my fellow creatives: using a projector for banner painting is great… but using Meta Quest goggles instead? Absolute game changer.

                                                 

Instead of setting up a traditional projector and adjusting it a hundred times, the headset allowed us to map and visualize placement quickly and accurately. It cut down prep time significantly and made scaling designs onto larger banners so much smoother.

The bride’s room was truly a showstopper. Big “BRIDE” balloons floated above the bed, with vibrant balloons scattered along the floor and bed for a playful, celebratory vibe. A  bride to be sash completed the look, making the space feel completely tailored to her.
